Jersey City is just across the Hudson from lower Manhattan. Between Jersey City and New York City, there is no lack of activities to do while you are here! Here's a small sampling of the things you can do in the area.  Click on the links for more information.

Eat & Drink

Porta: Pizza, pasta, and please order their homemade ricotta. It’s our go to place to bring people to in Jersey City.

Departed Soles: Originally a Gluten-Free brewery, now also makes beers for the Gluten Tolerant.

Satis: Amazing European food for brunch or dinner.

The Hamilton Inn: Try their French Onion Soup Dumplings. It’s our go to brunch spot because it’s just a few blocks away from our apartment.

The Archer: Our favorite cocktail bar with really great food to boost.

Torico: Our favorite ice-cream and go to place for all our birthday cake needs.

Matthews: A delicious spin on seafood. Although if you want the eat with your hands kind of seafood, go to Just Be Claws a couple blocks away!

Hamilton Pork: All the BBQ meats. And some mac and cheese.

Razza: NYTimes named Razza the best pizza in NYC (yay Jersey City!). It’s doesn’t take reservations, so go early! But we personally love Porta better!

Play

Liberty Science Center: Yes, it’s a children’s museum, but it’s also incredibly fun for adults.

Barcade: Arcade games and beers, can you really go wrong?

Explore

Liberty State Park

Jersey City Waterfront

Graffiti Tour: It would be a self guided tour, but you can go in search of all the beautiful art around the city.
